About Skills Academy

Skills Academy is a South African distance learning college. It started in 2009 as the skills division of the SA College of Home Study, and has run on its own since 2016.

It is built for adults who left school early, working adults, parents and people without matric. Some of its courses need only Grade 9, and some need no school results at all.

Study materials are included in the fee and can be read on a phone, tablet or computer. Students reach their tutors by phone, email and WhatsApp, and fees are paid monthly while you study rather than upfront.
