What the Career Office does not do
Worth knowing before you start.
- It does not place you in a job. It helps you apply properly. The job offer is between you and the employer.
- It does not make things up. Your CV is built from what you tell us. If something is missing, we ask you rather than invent it.
- It does not sign you up to a subscription. Premium is one payment of R1,250 for 12 months, and already yours if you study at a partner college.
- It does not apply for jobs for you. You send your own applications. The Career Office gets them ready with you.
You never make the next move alone.
Whatever you are going for, the Career Office works it through with you — and a person reads every question that comes in.
